Kerri McGonigle is a passionate and creative classical cellist who loves to push musical boundaries while respecting the traditions of the past in order to inspire and connect with people through music. She has criss-crossed the globe to perform everywhere from Italy to the Banff Centre for the Arts as well as doing studio performances for CBC television and radio. She will be joined at her Lovenotes concert by Julia Seager-Scott on the classical harp.
Julia is well known for her versatility on the harp and for her emotional touch on the instrument. She is currently the principal harpist of the Stratford Festival Orchestra, and she has also performed with everybody from The National Ballet of Canada Orchestra, to Tafelmusik, to Charles Spearin of Broken Social Scene on “The Happiness Project” which garnered a JUNO award.
